I am a highly-skilled Information/Knowledge Management Professional, with over twenty years’ experience in information research in the construction and water industries, together with the NHS and academic sectors; and consultancy. Latterly, I have been working with membership-based organisations in promoting their web presence. I am a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Library and Information Professionals (MCLIP).
It was while volunteering at Radio Royal Hospital Radio in Liverpool and conducting research for interviews that I discovered my passion: INFORMATION and ITS ORGANISATION. My strongest personal attribute is my ability to adapt to changed circumstances, evidenced by the breadth of my experience which includes large limited companies, universities and NHS organisations. I have also owned and managed my own information research consultancy.
I am a lateral thinker, enabling me to make connections between disparate elements and collaborate across multidisciplinary departments and organisations.
